The Leadership Council, pastor by pastor

Each page is built from that pastor's own church and ministry, his statement of faith quoted rather than summarised, and a note at the foot saying what could not be sourced. The rest of the Council follows, one at a time.

The Seven Threads for Sermon Structure

Every passage in Scripture connects to one or more of seven canonical threads running from Genesis 3:9 to Revelation 22:17. Identifying which thread(s) run through your text gives your sermon a canonical anchor: showing your congregation how this week's passage fits the whole Bible's argument.

THREAD 1
A God Who Cannot Stop Reaching

Passages about divine initiative, evangelism, and God's heart for the lost. John 3:16, Ezekiel 33:11, Luke 15. The thread that answers 'Does God really want everyone saved?'

THREAD 2
The People Chosen In Him

Passages about election, covenant, Israel, and the Church. Ephesians 1:4-13, Romans 9-11, Genesis 12. The thread that answers 'Who are God's people and how do you join them?'

THREAD 3
The Royal Trajectory

Passages about the Davidic covenant, Messiah, and the coming kingdom. 2 Samuel 7, Daniel 7, Revelation 19-20. The thread that answers 'Where is history going?'

THREAD 4
The Dignity of the Real Response

Passages about human choice, responsibility, and resistance. Joshua 24:15, Acts 7:51, John 5:40. The thread that answers 'Does my decision actually matter?'

THREAD 5
The Dispensational Roadmap

Passages about the covenants, Israel's future, and the structure of God's redemptive program. Jeremiah 31:31, Daniel 9, 1 Thessalonians 4-5. The thread that answers 'How does God's plan hold together across history?'

THREAD 6
Hidden in Him, Revealed with Him

Passages about union with Christ, the indwelling Spirit, and the mystery of the Church. John 15, Galatians 2:20, Colossians 1:27. The thread that answers 'What happened to me when I believed?'

THREAD 7
Whosoever Will, May Come

Passages about the open invitation, universal atonement, and the final call. Isaiah 55:1, Romans 10:13, Revelation 22:17. The thread that answers 'Is the invitation really open to everyone?'
