Seven Steps and a Door

The Whosoever Road

What Scripture says when you read all of it.

  1. Step 1: God moves first.

“When he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran.”
    Luke 15:20
  2. Step 2: Chosen never meant saved.

“Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?”
    John 6:70
  3. Step 3: Faith comes by hearing.

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
    Romans 10:17
  4. Step 4: The potter relents.

“If that nation… turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.”
    Jeremiah 18:8
  5. Step 5: Election has an address.

“In whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.”
    Ephesians 1:13
  6. Step 6: God asks, and means it.

“Turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?”
    Ezekiel 33:11
  7. Step 7: Humble yourself, and he answers.

“Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.”
    James 4:10
