What happened at Troas in the Bible?

The port where the gospel turned west. Here Paul saw the night vision that redrew the map: "There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us" (Acts 16:9). They crossed the next day, and Europe heard the word.
