What happened at Lystra in the Bible?

A town that first mistook Paul for a god, then stoned him and left him for dead. He had healed a man lame from birth, "Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked" (Acts 14:10); days later the crowd, turned by his enemies, "having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead" (14:19). He got up and went back in. Lystra was also young Timothy's home.
