Does salvation depend on man's yes?
Wanting is not needing. Jesus wanted Jerusalem gathered, offered it, and was refused: how often would I have gathered thy children together, and ye would not (Matt 23:37). He did not need their yes. Salvation depends on Christ entirely; whether a man receives it depends on whether he receives it, which is what John 3:18 says.
