What is the dispensation of the Kingdom (the millennium)?
The seventh and final dispensation, the thousand-year reign of Christ on earth (Rev 20). Christ governs personally from David's throne in Jerusalem; even under perfect rule man's heart is tested, and the final rebellion at the end proves that the problem was never the environment.
What the text states
After the second coming Christ reigns a literal thousand years (Rev 20:4), fulfilling the covenants to Abraham and David. It is the kingdom the Old Testament prophets saw: peace, justice, the earth "full of the knowledge of the LORD" (Isa 11:9), Christ ruling "with a rod of iron" (Rev 19:15). Yet at its end, Satan loosed, multitudes born during the millennium follow him in a final revolt (Rev 20:7-9), and are judged. The lesson of all seven dispensations is sealed here: given innocence, conscience, government, promise, law, grace, and finally the personal reign of Christ Himself, the human heart still needs a new birth. Every dispensation ends the same way, and every one points to the same Savior.
