What happened at Rome in the Bible?

The goal of the last voyage and the heart of the empire. Paul reached it a prisoner, and Acts ends with him there "preaching the kingdom of God... with all confidence, no man forbidding him" (Acts 28:31). The word had gone from Jerusalem to Rome, and nothing had stopped it.
