KadeshMount Hor

What happened at Kadesh-barnea in the Bible?

The door into the land, and the place it was refused. The spies came back with the fruit, Caleb said go up, the people said go back to Egypt, and the LORD took them at their word: "Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness" (Num 14:29). The land was offered and the refusal was real, and so were the forty years that followed it.
