Read the opening of his teaching
Shall we turn in our Bibles now to Philippians, chapter two, as we continue our journey through the Bible. This week we’ve arrived at Philippians, chapter two.
Paul begins the chapter by exhorting them to unity and to meekness.
He said, If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels (tenderness) and mercies, (Then)
Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
If you are really walking after Jesus Christ, if you have that consolation, that hope in Christ, if you have the comfort of His love, if you have fellowship in the Spirit, then get along with each other. Don’t be striving against those within the body of Christ.
