The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Wisdom is not innate capacity distributed to some and withheld from others. It is a response (the fear of the Lord) that is available to all who will take the first step.

Give me the honesty to examine my own response. Is there any place where I am choosing the lesser thing?
