I Am My Beloved's and He Is Mine
The Song of Solomon is the most misread book in the canon, and for Thread 6 it is the most underutilized. The repeated declarations of mutual possession (I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine) establish the vocabulary of the In Him union before Paul ever writes Galatians 2:20. The declaration shifts slightly with each iteration: first her claim on him, then his claim on her, then his desire directed entirely toward her. But the structure is constant: mutual possession, mutual indwelling, genuine union between two genuine persons.
