Jerusalem, Jerusalem: The Unwilling City
Matthew 23:37 is one of the most theologically devastating texts for Calvinist compatibilism. God's will and human will are placed in direct opposition in the same sentence: by Christ Himself. God willed to gather. Jerusalem willed not. Both wills are real. The divine will did not override the human will. This is Thread 1 (reaching God) meeting Thread 4 (real response) at the point of real rejection.
