Crucified With Christ
Galatians 2:20 is the most compressed statement of the In Him Union in the entire Pauline corpus. I have been crucified with Christ: past tense, done. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. The life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me. Hidden in Him, Revealed with Him is not absorption: Paul still lives in the flesh. It is not mere influence: Christ actually lives in him. It is mutual indwelling: Christ in Paul, Paul in Christ, the life of Christ expressed through the genuine agency of Paul.
