Suicide is a grievous sin, but it is not the unpardonable sin and does not by itself send a believer to hell. Salvation rests on faith in Christ, not on the manner of death, and nothing "shall be able to separate us from the love of God" (Rom 8:38-39).
What the text states
Every life belongs to God, and taking one's own is sin. But Scripture never lists suicide as an exception to grace, and it is not the unpardonable sin. A believer is sealed with the Spirit "unto the day of redemption" (Eph 1:13, 4:30) and kept by God's power; his standing was settled at faith, not his last act. This does not excuse it, God calls the suffering to hope and to help. If you are in this darkness, tell someone today and reach out for help; you are not alone, and your life matters to God.
Some teach suicide is automatically damning for lack of chance to repent. We hold a believer's security rests on Christ's finished work and the Spirit's seal, not on the sin of his final moment.
