What does the Bible say about creation and evolution?
God created the heavens and the earth and all life in six days (Gen 1), each "after his kind." This platform holds young-earth creation: a recent, direct creation, not evolution over deep time.
What the text states
Genesis 1 gives six days, evening and morning, with life reproducing "after his kind" (Gen 1:11-25) and man made directly in God's image (1:27). Jesus treated Adam and Eve as historical ("from the beginning of the creation," Mark 10:6), and the genealogies (Luke 3, Gen 5, 11) place creation thousands, not millions, of years ago. We hold young-earth creation because the text reads as literal history, the Lord read it so, and the gospel rests on a real fall of a real first man (Rom 5:12-19).
Theistic evolution and old-earth views read the days as ages or figuratively. We hold the young-earth reading: literal days, recent creation, a historical Adam.

Wave 4. 50 quoted fragments table-passed against the verses table, splitting every quotation at its ellipsis. 49 pass. ONE CORRECTION: the file quoted "Dead in sins" (Eph 2:1); the KJV reads "dead in trespasses and sins", and the quotation was corrected to the table. One exhibit does not resolve and ships omitted rather than guessed: what-does-dead-in-sin-mean listed 'is-faith-a-work', which is not a slug on this site (the nearest is is-believing-a-work); flagged for Darren.
